After the trickery and mischief he wrought in the first two books, things have gone quiet for the Raven. His little transformation seems to have been fairly effortless. Or has he lost his power?
At this stage of the game, the female refuses to be drawn towards the male, eternally promising to rescue her in the role of father or suitor. This development mirrors the decline of patriarchy. The usual ploys of seduction and deception fail, and there is no resolution. It seems the female is locked in a hopeless battle against established traditions, against an overpowering force.
However, many females have become so distanced from their very own powers that they can no longer make their primordial contribution. By completely assimilating male survival patterns, women make exactly the same mistakes. They fight mainly for survival and want to exert as much control as possible.
And thus we get back to the Raven, because this is his realm. It's time for him to act

We have played at being victims for several thousands of years, and it is time to slowly end this game. Perhaps awareness is finally dawning that neither matriarchy nor patriarchy can lead alone
